For the common app recommendation section, if i assign a recommender to upload rec for multiple schools, will the person get multiple links to upload the letter?

No. They will receive one invite, and their recommendation will be saved on Common App for future use.
@Jpgranier thank you! also do you know when they will receive the invitation email?
They receive one as soon as you add them in the common app “invite and manage recommenders” tab.
Be sure to give them a reminder that it is in their inbox. You should always give someone a month before needing a recommendation from them.
