<p>OK... so i go to submit my common app and a message comes up saying that: yes i can submit my app to other colleges after i send this one out, but no i can't change anything on the application. How can I work around this? How can they do this? I definitely want to change my application around depending on the school.</p>

<p>Not to worry. I freaked too, but then I found out that you CAN edit it. Here's what you do: when you open up to the App itself (in the My Application tab), at the top there should be a pulldown thingie with "My Application and the date submitted. Click it, and then find the button right underneath that says "Copy." Click that, and then you've made a copy of your app that absolutely CAN be altered.
What they mean is that the application you submitted can't be changed, but you can make infinite copies of it that can.</p>
