changes in Common App after submitting it?

<p>I'm sure this has been answered many times before but I've been up for nearly 24 hours (got up early for the SAT) and am frankly too exhausted to search- so, sorry! </p>

<p>I just submitted my application to a few schools. I had wanted to use a different essay for some other schools though, but it won't let me change the application. I thought they'd changed the freezing of the application??? I KNOW I read that somewhere a while ago! Did they change it back? I'm really upset right now... :(</p>
