<p>I submitted the ED agreement from UPenn at the beginning of the month. Was I supposed to wait until closer to the deadline, or is submitting it that earlier OK to? Is there really a difference at all? Thank you.</p>
<p>The only rule is that you have to submit by the application deadline. You can submit earlier, much earlier, than that. Frankly until your file is complete – app, agreement, transcript, test scores, rec letters, anything else required, no one at Penn who actually makes decisons on admissions is going to look at your file and when they do, they won’t care by which date anything arrived.</p>
<p>You don’t have to wait until close to the deadline, though that might have been a good idea in the event that you end up changing your mind.</p>
