<p>Is it "bad" to write your common app essay (the 250+ word one) and the 150 word snippet about an extra curricular activity on the same activity? I was considering doing that but then I realized it may come across as a little redundant.</p>
<p>Don’t do it if you’ll just be repeating something… but if it’s about distinct parts of an extracurricular, than I think it’s okay. I actually did this with my essay about a very specific part of my #1 extracurricular and my short answer as a much more general overview so they got a complete picture… but don’t be redundant, adcoms already have enough to read without reading things twice</p>
