Ok, I have a lot of ideas I’ve been playing around with…but my main topic of importance seems to be this:
I was born, and brought up in Cal till I was 8, then parents decided to move to India (we’re originally from there)…after 10 years here, I am going back to the US for college. four years ago, my parents split up because my dad wanted to go back to the US (he lives there now) and my mom wanted us to grow up in India. I’m thinking of writing about this, and how it influenced by perspective on life and people in general,my global outlook and how I feel comfortable in both countries. Would you say this is an overused essay topic? The part about a different culture, i mean. Any other perspective I can spin out from my experiences?
