Common App "Honors"?

So under "Education" one of the sections is "Honors". The task is: "If you have received any honors related to your academic achievements beginning with the ninth grade or international equivalent, please indicate number of honors"

So is this only referring to big special awards, or does being on my high school's honor roll count? All it means in my high school is we didn't get any C's but there is no place to explain what it means at our high school on the application. Should I list being on the honor roll, or should I just leave the section blank? I don't see why listing it is relevant, as they will see my transcript for themselves, but I'm just wondering if it will look bad to leave the section empty.
Thanks for any help!

I would definitely list it. It’s like when a college student lists “Dean’s List” on her resume.

@green687 thank you!

National Honor, Math, Music, Spanish, etc Societies count so does Honor Roll and National Mertit Scholar or other things like that

Also sports related honors like championships, regional winners, etc Basically anything that you got an award for

@Purple205‌ sports related honors belong in the activities section.

Thanks @purple205 and @guineagirl96‌

No problem!
