<p>My School Counselor is on a vacation from 12/22/14 to 01/05/15</p>
<p>The problem is that she has not started on ANY of the things</p>
<p>It says for School Report and Fee waiver status, that she has not started on those yet.</p>
<p>Will I be penalized if my counselor does not do it in time for january 1st deadline?
Can I even submit my common app if it still says "Not started" on the day of deadline?</p>

<p>As long as you have invited your counselor, you can happily submit your CommonApp. </p>

<p>By the way, do you know if that is the same situation for the teacher recommendations?</p>
<p>If they have not submitted it, can I still submit my common app? I am not that worried about my teachers as I am still keeping in touch with them through winter break, but just in case.</p>
