For the common app supp, it's a PDF file and there's a little mail-to address at the end. Does that mean I have to send it in even though I'm doing my common app online for the fee waiver? (U of Roch waives the fee if you do it online).

Can't you just do the supplement online too?

no. i called them up and they said iw ould have to send it. btw, how would you send a nonwriteable pdf file?

Not sure about Rochester, but with other applications you can submit the Common Application and the specific supplement both online at commonapp.org...

The Rochester supplement must be mailed.

This is no bollocks - it would appear that it has to be mailed in.

wait but if i do the rochester app, do i still have to mail in the supplement?

Son did the Rochester app and he did not have to mail any of it in.

If you submit commonapp online for Rochester, you will need to mail in the commonapp supplement. The commonapp supplement is not linked via the internet and must be printed out and mailed to U of R.
