Common application help!

Well i have a pretty bad score of SAT right now but I took one last week. I want to send in my application to the school already but my bad score is listed. I was wondering if I send this application in and ask collegeboard to send in my new scores to the school i'm applying to, would the school update my application with the new score??

also, I have another question about recommendations from outside of school people. I am getting recommendations from two people and I gave them an envelope with the school's name. And they'll be sending in the recommendation directly. Would the school know that that specific recommendation belong to me if it refers to me in the letter? Wouldn't that be too chaotic to figure out which recommendation belongs to who? or is there a way for me to indicate that there's recommendations being sent to them and same for SAT scores that future scores are arriving.
HELP!

Maybe at the top of the recommendations, where I’m assuming they’re going to write who the recommendation is for, you should put your Common App ID number?

As for the SAT scores, if their policy is a Score Choice one, then if your newer scores are higher than the old ones they may only pay attention to those. Just make sure you’ve noted that you’ve taken another SAT in that section of the Common App.
