So my counselor is asking me this question. How should she send online the secondary school transcripts and mid year report? Should she just print the transcript, sign it, put the school stamp and then scan it? Is this considered official? Or just sent the word version, without stamp and signature?
I am an international student and its the first time that my counselor is using common application.

Assuming you have invited your counselor and your counselor is submitting through his or her common app account, whatever your counselor uploads will be treated as an official transcript by the schools you apply to. The procedure you decribed (print, sign, school stamp, scan, upload to common app website) will work.

@niceday: I’m also an intl’ student. Can I just scan my original transcripts that already have school’s stamp and signature, and save it as a picture file or watever file, ofcoz giving it to my counselor to upload it into the commonapp school form? Is that correct?
