Hello!
I got accepted earlier on in December, and it I'm strongly considering State. I got accepted into the School of Engineering, and am pretty excited about my possible future there. I was wondering if there were any dorms that were specifically for student in the engineering school or if there were any dorms that were especially common for freshmen in general. I know that a couple of the dorms are solely for First Year College, but which are the most common for a freshman? Thanks!

If you are female, there is a program called WISE…Women In Sci. and Engineering. They live in Sullivan on West campus.
Freshman live all over campus but Central Campus might be the best location for freshmen.
Tucker and Owen (First Year College) dorms are there so that makes for quite a few freshman in the area. The high rises…Bowen,Carroll,Metcalf…are on Central Campus too.
I think a good number of freshmen live in those. When my son was a freshman living in Owen, he had some good (freshmen) friends living in the high rises.
