COMMONAPP: can teachers see how many schools I'm applying to?

Hi! I'm wondering if teachers can see how many schools I am applying to. Do they write a specific evaluation for EACH school? Or do they just write ONE recommendation letter, fill out ONE evaluation under the common app and just click send once (and one letter will automatically go to each school)?

I'm very confused because I told my French teacher I wanted to apply for 8 schools and she immediately looked overwhelmed (I'm an international student and I don't think she's ever filled out a commonapp recommendation letter before). I actually want to add more schools so if teachers just fill out one form/evaluation then that's much better.

Thanks in advance :)

Would love to know as well. Thanks in advance!

It depends what system your school is using. I know my school uses Naviance and they have to check off the schools from a list to determine where the rec’s get sent, so yes for Naviance

Teachers do not have to write multiple copies. One uploaded or photocopied and sent to multiple schools is perfectly acceptable. She may need to physically sign each but that’s it.

Teacher only has to fill out evaluation form and upload letter once. For each school you apply to you get to choose which teacher recommendation to use, in case you have more than one and a school only wants one.
