Hi guys
My teachers and my school counselor don’t want to use CommonApp to send their documents about me (e.g. Letter of Recommendations). I’m my high school’s first student who will apply to US colleges and therefore they aren’t familiar with the whole process.
Do you know if it’s alright if my teachers send the documents physically by mail to colleges?
You could teach them. The benefit in cost and time both is totally worth it. I know because I was in the same situation a year ago.
@cauldroncastle but would it be disadvantageous if colleges would receive the forms physically? The problem is that I’m moving to America in 2 weeks while my teachers are in Switzerland so it would be kind of complicated to communicate…

If money (and added inconvenience) is not your concern for physically mailing all the forms, then, it’s the same.
