Commonapp Recommendation confusion

<p>So I'm planning on transferring for Fall 2014</p>

<p>I am having my English professor write my letter of recommendation.</p>

<p>I'm confused with how this works. I don't see any place in the actual common application for the letters of recommendations. I only see the option in my list of colleges when I press "assign recommenders" and it has the form for me to fill out. Does this mean that it will only assign that recommendation to that one school and I'll have to send my professor a recommendation request for EVERY school I plan on applying to? </p>

<p>You have to send letters of recommendation to the individual colleges you apply to. I hope this helped with some of it!</p>
