the above message is in reply to bobtheboy…

I have barrons for math 2…
i think its pretty useless since they’ve put it so much of unnecessary information on which you arnet tested…
but, you could do it if you have time…

so…if I am registered for 2 tests, can I just tell the proctor I want to take a third and be billed at a later date?

im just wondering… isn’t it better to do one SAT II test on one day(to focus more)?? why do people take 2 or 3 tests on the same day? I want to register for the SAT II but i don’t know if i should take 1 or 2 tests on the same day???

A quick question-

I registered to take the World History and Math II test. I don’t think World History is going to go as well as I planned. Would I be able to take the test, get my score report, and cancel the scores/choose not to report that specific score to colleges?

I’m pretty sure if you cancel your score it cancels ALL the scores from that test date. So if you canceled world, you’d also cancel math.

^ That is correct.

Just tell the proctor before the test that you don’t want to take World History. Take the Math test and leave right after.

The tests are only one hour long and are not as mentally taxing as the SAT Reasoniing Test (in my experience). Many people take three tests in one day with no problem.

in addition, taking 3 subject test together on the same day is cheaper than taking them separately. so I assume families with financial troubles would encourage their kids to take them on the same day.

Thank you to all who answered my question. Just another question- how does score choice work on the SAT subject tests?

^ I want to know the same thing. If I apply for 3 tests in October, Math II, Physics, and Bio - then choose Score Choice to send in only Math II and Physics/Bio (very likely based on which is higher, and I’m guessing Physics) - can I do that? Or can I ONLY tell them which date to send and they’ll send all 3?

What type of SATII’s do colleges like to see? Assuming 2 SATIIs, 1 math/science, 1 non-math/science?

^Depends on the college and what you want to major in. Taking Math II is always a good idea unless you’re just really bad at math. If you are looking at engineering, then you probably want to take a science test as well. If not, then any other test would be good. Just keep in mind that a lot of schools won’t give you separate credit if you take Math I and Math II

thanks jgraider.

Hey, I’m taking 2 SATII’s tomorrow, Saturday June 5th. What time do we need to arrive at our test center, what do we need to bring with us, and approximately how soon can i leave (I’m taking Bio-M and US History). Thanks in advance =].

check collegeboard.com

I did, but I wanted an actual response from a person who has already taken them before.

if you didn’t do so well but you decide not to retake the test does smart choice allow you to omit the score for SAT II subject test all together? meaning …if i took a SAT II world test and i didn’t do as well as i wanted to…but time or something does not premit to retake it again in the future does smart choice allow me to not send that score?

can this work? since i don’t have any higher score i want to send?
