I'm committed to attending Bing, but this past year i've become more interested in pursuing a comm major. I'm really not sure if they offer a purely communications major, but they say that english is like it?
If i do intend on studying communications/journalism/etc. does binghamton give me opportunities to do this?

Thanks

There really isn’t a journalism major or concentration. I would suggest majoring in English (not concentrating in creative writing which is an option at bing) and some sort of social science. Maybe sociology? There is also a Human Development major which is a mix of sociology and psychology (it’s meant for social work though).

There are also internships available through various school departments that would be appropriate for someone interested in communications. You can also work with the radio station, the TV station, and the news paper.
