If one has taken community college and high school classes at the same time, how do these transfer over when one is to apply to a university? Will the university look at the community college courses? If one receives a low score, will this affect one’s University GPA?
You have to submit all transcripts of schools attended including CCs. Yes, the university will look at the courses. As to whether or not they impact the GPA, depends. My kids have attended schools that did it different ways. 1 factored them in. One posted 2 GPAs, one institutional (the school currently being attended) and one degree (that included the transfer credits.) I suspect there are other ways of them being factored as well.
