Community College Classes - Where does it count?

I was wondering if classes taken in community colleges during highschool count on your GPA if you are not getting credit from your high school for them. Secondly, if they do count on your high school GPA, do you get more than 4 points for an A?

This is particularly in reference to UC schools.

the college itself weights it

otherwise probably noone will take them lol

Yeah, in other words what I am asking is that will I be submitting 2 different GPAs when applying, one "High School GPA" and one "college GPA", or will i be just submitting an overall GPA?

Allright, I looked it up myself, and for anyone who is interested, here is what I basically found:

1) The GPA is all calculated together
2) College level classes that can be transfered for credit to the UC colleges can be weighted as honors

Cool. I was considering taking something like European History or Asian History (do these classes even exist?) at PCC or ELAC.
