Do community classes count towards your GPA?

Hey I took some classes at a community college here in Los Angeles and was wondering if they generally count towards your GPA. I took:

Business 001 (3 units)= A
Intro to Cumputer Science (5 units)= A
German 1 (H) (5 units)= A
German 2 (5 units)= A
Health (3 Units)= A

All the classes are UC/ CAL state certified, also in addition to this I was wondering whether they then count as 5 points since they are college classes.

Thanks!

If you took them as dual enrollment, and your high school guidance counselor had to sign off on a paper about them, they should be. At least, that's how it works in Florida. Go and ask your guidance counselor to be sure (or get a copy of your h.s. transcript).

I think this type off thing depends on your school. Try asking your guidance counselor.

yea they had to sign a paper and i did take it as a dual enrollment, i have asked my counselor and she said it doesnt get calculated into my GPA from high school but she said that some colleges would calculate into theirs, i am just not sure if most colleges do that and if all or just some classes, and that is what i am confused about.

Thanks!
