Community College Classes

Hello Everyone,

I am a senior in high school right now and I am going to San Jose State University in the fall of 2010. I have a few questions about sending in my community college transcript to SJSU. I took classes while I was in high school to get ahead and get my credits early, but I got a message from admission saying that I need to send in my college transcript if I took summer classes. I was wondering if I absolutly had to send in my transcript to SJSU? I sort of do not want to because I did not get the grades that I wanted in those classes (I got C's because it was sort of hard.) Would it be okey if I just sent my final high school transcript and not my college transcript since I do not want those credits to transfer over? Would it affect my admission?

I think you only have to send it if you want the credit transfered to your future college. Can’t you call the admissions office and ask them? There should also be a website somewhere where they list this information…

You have send all transcripts you have from any accredited college, no matter when or why you attended. Not doing so can have serious consequences.

^ There’s the official answer.

If the admissions ask you to send anything what they need, you gotta send it.

Okey I guess I will send it, but would my GPA transfer from the CC to SJSU? cause i would really like it if it didnt.

GPA does not transfer from the CC.
