I am incoming freshman. And, I just submiited my transctips from community colleges that I took courses to UCLA. How soon and how would I know which courses I gets UCLA credits? I know there is an assist.org, but if I log on myUCLA, is there any a link to tell me how many credits that I have already earned and how many courses/credits I should work on?

They’ll be listed under “Advanced Standing Credit” on your [Degree Progress Report](https://www.ursa.ucla.edu/dpr/dpr.asp) when available.

I just saw it.
XXX COLLEGE 1 8/10 CC 11F
EE BIOL HUM HEREDITY & DIS LD 4.5

But it says non-transferred UC course. The course I took was UC transferable in XXX college catalog.

It probably came in as title credit because we don’t have a specific equivalent to that class at UCLA. You’ll still get 4.5 units for it though (3 semester units x 1.5 = 4.5 quarter units).

what is title credit? did I actually get to waive some electives? Yes, the course is 3 units in XXX college, why times 1.5?

sorry, I will be class of 2015, so I don’t know much just now.

oh, I guess 1 semester unit = 1.5 quarter unit.
but again, what is title credit? is that something useful?

Title credit can give you units and satisfy requirements (like Writing I or Quantitative Reasoning or something like that) depending on the course, you’ll probably have to petition to get them to count for something other than just units.
