Community College Students Doing Research At A UC

<p>Hey people, So i am currently a Community College student, who is a math major who wants to do research at a UC, preferably UCLA, so I went and emailed a lot of UCLA professors and I even had a meeting with a Math professor today for him to tell me that only UCLA students can research there, but I know people who do not go to UCLA that does research at the school, so my question is does anyone know what is the best way to go about gaining research experience while still attending a community college. </p>

<p>You have to go in through someone you know, or through a program. Start at your CC and ask the professors there if they have a colleague at UCLA that need help.</p>
