Community College

Hello friends. I wanted to ask a question. Well i am taking community college courses at this summer for fun and the rigor and depth that the classes cover are greater than what my high school covers. The labs are a lot more interesting and actually beneficial. I regret taking AP biology at my school when I should have taken it at the community college.

During my senior year I was planning to lighten my course load to just 4 AP's and some honors and an aid period so that I am able to take at least 3 classes at my community college. Is that a bad thing in the eyes of the admissions office. Because I would learn a lot more from the classes at my community college than I would at my high school

Usually colleges look at how you maximize what your HIGH school offers first, then community college. Although I don’t think this will be true to your senior year since your course load is not weak or anything.

What courses are you taking? I can trade you some college pdf textbooks like Stewart’s, Hass’s, Larson’s, Resnick’s Physics, etc…

4 APs is plenty. With community college classes along with those, I wouldn’t think any college would have a problem with your course load.
