<p>You do "service learning" through certain classes. My d was an assistant teacher in an ESL class for Latin American Studies I class. It was worth one credit hour. The students have to write "reflection" papers periodically throughout the semester. You do get a letter grade and it shows up on your transcript. For the class of 2010 it is a requirement for graduation, but I don't know about transfer students.</p>
