I’m currently a freshman at El Camino community college and I really want to attend UC Santa Barbara. I was wondering what would be a good GPA to transfer there as a computer science major, also would it be possible to transfer in two years. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

CS is one of the majors excluded from TAG at UCSB. That makes it tough to say what it will take - it depends on the applicant pool.
According to this tool, their acceptance rate for CS transfers last year was 6%. Akin to undergrad admission selectivity at Stanford.
So, aim for a 3.9 and have an alternate in mind.
