Commute to Unifieds?

Hi all;
Newbie here, and not sure if this is the right topic to post this, but I'm planning to audition next year at Unifieds in Chicago for acting, and I was wondering if it was possible to commute to Unifieds? My family only lives about thirty minutes away from Chicago, and my mother doesn't want to spend money if we live close enough to just travel there and back in the day.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum!

You absolutely can commute! Smart way to save money…

Unquestionably you can commute. We live about an hour away and we did a “hybrid.” We stayed over night two nights and the other night we came home and took the train back in. My D’s friend who lives nearby commuted every night. If you’re only 30 minutes away there is absolutely no reason to stay overnight. Save the money for tuition!

We ran into several people who commuted and they had no problem. There are plenty of places to sit and hang in the hotel. It might make for a long couple of days but the money saved will be nice.

Good to hear! We are only 20 miles north of Chicago, but I made reservations just in case. It would be nice to save the money, but I was unsure whether D would want to have a place to go to rest or warmup or something.
