Company Letter?

Has anyone received a letter telling them what company they will be in and what PO Box yet?

I heard some people were.

I have no idea! I hope we can get our address. My graduation party is tomorrow night... so I might call and ask so that I can just have the address there for my family to get. That would be ideal and way easier than my Mom having to send my address to everyone

A lot of my friends called admissions today and yesterday and asked. I'm calling tomorrow.

(410) 293-4361
Open 8-4 Weekdays
9-12 Saturday

Jaybee, did your friends find out?

I called and got transferred to an annoyed TADS 2LT who said that I would get that information on I-Day.

Yea they all found out. At least 5 separate people.

ha sweet! I'll be checking the mail a bit more closely now...

The midshipman I dragged with sent me a message telling me that I'm in the 6th company...

I called admissions earlier today, and they said company info would be released tomorrow.....

i called a little while ago and they said itll be released this afternoon

We didn't find out our company info until 3 days before I-day. They mailed them in while I was already there so I just called admissions.

I have friends who found their's out either yesterday or today.

who exactly are yall calling? i called the admissions office and spoke to a receptionist and she just told me that we would get a letter in a week. is there someone specific that I need to get in contact with? if so who?

I called this morning and they told me it would be released today and to call back after noon. So I called back and they transferred me to Midshipmen Personnel (410-293-7000).

Well I just called admissions who directed me to midshipman personnel (410-293-7000). They told me that I am going to be in first company which I don't know if that is good or bad because I have heard nicknames like "no fun" 1. Anyone have any insight into this company.

what the heck? I just tried that number (410-293-7000) and the woman i spoke to flipped out at me for calling and asking. she told me "you will find that out on I-Day. EVERYTHING will be given to you THEN!"

have you guys found urs out?

Well by the looks of this thread, it seems that regardless of whom you speak to at Midshipmen Personnel, we should all be getting that letter with Company Information as well as addresses within the next few days.

haha now I'm scared to call scuba

So I think I got the same lady because she said "you'll find that out when you finally get here"

I just talked to her and she explained that they have had a shortage of box numbers and people are being shifted around as they add more boxes. She said that not all the numbers are final and that it is best to wait until things have solidified. She doesn't want people giving out an address to friends and family and have it turn out to be wrong. She's frustrated with the calls because she is short staffed today and fielding tons of calls.

On that note... They have had many more accept offer this year and are well over the normal admit numbers. Much shuffling is being done.
