Hey everyone, had a great idea, just an experiment. Let's all post our BB (2nd edition) scores and then our real SAT and PSAT scores. A lot of people on CC seem to think that BB practice tests are a lot easier, so it will be interesting to see what we all got. I'll start:

I took the PSAT this year with zero prep and got a 186 (M 58, CR 66, and W 62).

First practice test: 2160 (don't remember section scores)
2nd practice test: 2180 (M 660, CR 750, W 770)

I’ll do this later since I can’t get to my records right now but keep in mind that taking practice tests will boost the score, so the first couple of practice tests may be lower.

Okay, so I took the SAT twice, once in october and again in December, so I took a lot of practice tests. These are the tests that I took from the blue book prior to october, when I got a 2250.

Not gonna go check my scores but first blue book test was 2100, that steadily increased and the last few were either 2400s or high 2300s. Actual test was a 2100, basically the exact same score (each section too) as the first practice test :(.

Average in blue book: ~2100 (mid 700s for math, low 700s/high 600s for CR, and low 700s/high 600s for Writing)
Actual score: 2250 (800 M, 730 CR, 720 Writing)
And it’s not even like it was a gradual score increase for the practice tests, they were kind of all over the place. I don’t even think the blue book tests were much harder, I was just a lot more careful on the actual SAT.
