Comparing Stevens and Drexel

I'm looking at Chemical Engineering at both of these schools, and while I know a fair amount about Drexel, I'm not quite sure how Stevens Institute of Tech compares to it.

While both schools are ABET accredited, I was wondering if one carries more weight than the other for say an employer. Is Stevens much more selective about who it admits to it's engineering than Drexel to theirs, or is the difference so small that it doesn't even matter. I feel like at this point I'm worrying about such minuscule details, but I want to know.

On another note, if anyone has first hand experience of Stevens, how do you like it? And how off-putting is the gender ratio there? I know it is a Tech school, but 75-25 seems VERY askew! Any info/help is appreciated!

My cousin goes to Stevens and from what I’ve heard, its a very tough school. There isn’t much nightlife and there are many more guys than girls. The only good thing is that Hoboken is right there. However, if youre not 21 its pretty useless. He says that the professors are very tough and all of his classes require a lot of work. He seems to like the education though.
