See, it is bigger in post #0!

Exciting Friday night we’re having.

Guys, post #0 being the first post has a bigger font size than all the replies. This is expected behavior designed to make the original post in a thread stand out.

So why can’t they just use the bigger font for the whole thread? Then it would be readable. @CCadmin_Sorin is there any news on the font issue?

A bigger font for everything would make the “too much scrolling needed” complaint worse. But only marginally, since the difference in font sizes is not that great.

I think we want to keep this difference so that it’s easier for the original post to stand out. Thanks!

My (nonexpert) opinion is that the problem with the font is the font itself, the shape of the letters being more horizontal than vertical.

In my opinion, one example of a more readable font – for shape, not size – is at reddit, with the caveat that I have no idea whether there are personal settings involved in the font I see there. More readable font = I can see more, better, even in smaller font sizes. (My apologies if this is too off topic)

Serif fonts are indeed more readable; serifs remove ambiguity, easier for the brain to interpret. There’s plenty of room for serifs on today’s screens since we can no longer see an individual pixel.

I think the fonts are still too large but need to be thicker and yes, serifs would help,
