Well... you know what I think? I think your extracurriculars could make the difference. Academically, I don't think I can be a judge of this situation, though.

JMU is AMAZING! I want to go there so badly now. 61% women and almost all of them are hot, they have a brand new fitness center, they have some of the best food, and there is so much to do there. I am definitely applying there EA.

I forgot to mention; it is a public school. 1234 for a public school is REALLY high, possibly the highest in the country
[/quote]
no you're wrong
mine has 1360 or so (HUGE public that you've definitely heard of)
IMSA has like 1540<--theyre public

you're chances are amazing for where u want to go, dont worry about it
congrats on being happy with yourself, unlike the rest of the people here ('im a loser cus i didnt get into MIT' is that irony or what?)

ur fine for UMD-Chapel Hill..
u can tell that to ur mom..

and class rank isnt as important as the GPA itself.

My mom says i don't have to apply now because I really didn't like it.

WHITMAN FOLKS!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOT Truly it can be said that Whitman is one of the top non-magnet non-IB public schools in the country.

I know for a fact that Whitman doesn't rank. Anyway, if UofA is your first choice then you should have no problem getting in there.

If you don't want to go to a school, don't apply there if you can.
Anyways, good luck to the Vikes of 2006.

It doesn't rank? OK, I'm in. You're Justin, right? I played CS w/ you, Andy, Seth, and Colin a few times. I'm Connor. I should probably get WoW soon.

I don't know, JMU might be my #1 now. I really like 'Zona because of its location.

hahaha I see, I still don't know who you are, but I get the CS connection, and yes you should get WoW (I haven't bought it yet though...)

Please respond.

And again...

konw someone with a 3.7 and a 1250 who got rejected from psu early i the appli, a 3.3 isnt gonna cut it.

Auburn requires a 3.0, and ?21 on the ACT, can't remember exactly. The thing with Auburn is housing, housing, housing. Do your research, now, decide if you want dorm or not and apply this summer. DD's GC recommended all Auburn apps in before Sept 30 because of housing. If you think you want to be "trailer trash" - which can be fun - Dec 1 is an OK deadline just for admission.
Not sure about the situation for OOS, they might be more forgiving, but I doubt it, on the GPA. I think they are more flexible for URMs.
