Competition

Hi.
So, I live in a very small town in Alabama, and I am very interested in NYU. But, there is a slight problem...so are two other students in my class. So, should I still apply? I'm almost positive that NYU will not accept 3 or even 2 people from the same school, so please help!
Ciao for now.

no
im pretty sure they just admit whoever they like
if ur a good student (good enough to get accepted)
than they should accept you
and if the other three from your school are good
then they might get accepted too

no that's not true at all, i know about 10 or 12 people got into nyu from my high school last year. but then again, we're a prestigious school in nj - top ten in the state. honestly i think they'll accept you as long as you're a good student; the school you come from should have very little to do with it.

yeah
as long as your sats/act match your rank then they should accept you if ur good enough
im pretty sure they dont have a limit by school

if someone went to such ana amzing school where everyone got like 1400' + on sats
and everyone had a 4.0
and they all applied to NYU
they wouldnt limit them
they would accept them cuz they are all so good

Nevertheless many top-tier schools do have quotas, although I'm not sure on NYU's position. Your best bet would be to call Admissions.
