Im a highschool junior and Im wondering what type of stuff ill need to be competitive for admission to USMMA

3.7 gpa
bunch of APS
1370 old SATs
senior patrol leader
football captain, 2 varsity letters
lots of other random ECs

what do you think?

yeah, your application looks very good.

where do you live?

but your stats do look very good

VA 6th district, roanoke area

You seem very competitive, I'm just guessing here, but I would say that VA is kinda competitive with nominations, check with your senators and congressman, normally they have list of their nominees. If they nominate ten people each, then it will be more competitive then say SD.

Your stats look good, but be prepared for some critical questions in your interviews. I noteced that you are a senior patrol leader and a varsity football captain. The two activites individually take so much time. How you can be totally committed to both?
Good luck, and hope your senior season goes well.

i was captain of jv, 2 varsity letters freshman and sophmore years, then i decided to run XC and do marching band, i was senior patrol leader in the spring, is there a geographic quota for appointments? like do they take the same from kansas as florida?

no they take a different amount from every state..it depends on popuation, number of applications......etc. I dont know how many they take from VA, but I know they take 3 from Missouri, but then again sometimes missouri has 20 people apply and some years they have 2, it just depends
