Computer Science and Engineering major?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>MIT (my dream school) has a major "Computer Science and Engineering." I probably won't get into MIT though (but hey, you never know), so what other schools offer a similar major? I want to get a background in both computer science and electrical engineering. As well, I like the MIT major because it offers a 5 year Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. A place that offers this would be preferred. Thanks for your help!</p>

<p>Look also at schools which have majors called “Electrical Engineering and Computer Science” (EECS) or “Electrical and Computer Engineering” (ECE).</p>

<p>But some schools’ Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science majors have enough in-major elective flexibility to allow the student to take a decent number of courses in the other areas.</p>

<p>Ohio State has a Computer Science and Engineering program just like that! In fact, it’s what I will be doing next year :)</p>
