I was accepted to SU for Mathematics with the Founders Scholarship and only $2000 in loans. I also got into the Honors Program! Obviously the financial aid I received won't cover even half the tuition but I have taken a liking to this school since I visited. I'm planning on double majoring Math and computer science. On the other hand, I also got into UCI which is cheaper for me since I live in CA and I have heard it is better in CS and math. However, I do not like the idea of staying so close to home for my college years. I was wondering if anyone had first-experience of CS and math at Syracuse. It doesn't seem to be too well-known in either of them. Thanks for any information!

I asked about CS on the SU subreddit and got responses there so you might want to check there @kbiresearch

S had a fabulous visit at Admitted Students Day on Monday at SU. Spent most of his time with students and dept. heads in computer sci/computer engineering and committed to Syracuse 2 days later. Very impressed with the students, professors, student projects, new focus on robotics, careers, internships etc.
