Computer Science/Economics Double Major?

<p>Hello, I'm a high school student and joined this forum for some input on this propostion:</p>

<p>Would double majoring in Computer Science/Economics at UF at the college of liberal arts and sciences be worth it?
Would it take longer/be more difficult to do than just majoring in CS in the school of Computer & Information Science & Engineering? </p>

<p>Double majoring is an excellent idea. Yes it will be longer, but only slightly since the General Ed courses are combined and electives and hours satisfy each other. Its a plus for going to grad school or getting a job.</p>
