Hey guys, I was accepted by UF last week and got my letter today but am confused on the conditions.

It says my admission is tentative based on my final transcript and Credit AP-Exam

I have no idea what the Credit by AP Exam means because I haven't taken an AP class since my senior year of HS and that was 4 years ago. I didn't take the test due to a conflict.

Could that really jeopardize my acceptance? Plus, will grades above a "C" be deemed acceptable for my transcript? Thanks

Also, I already booked my orientation for May 28th. My final transcript will probably get to the school right around that date if not after. So will this mean I’ll probably need to change my orientation date???

Well, I know you have to send in your AP scores personally to the University (I already did this by phone)…they are not on your transcript. My guess is that your 60 credits required for transfer is made up of AP scores, so you won’t technically have all of your credits accounted for until your scores have been sent.

I don’t think you would have to change your orientation date.

I don’t have any AP scores, I never took the exam. That’s why I’m confused.

eh it may just be a standard message for all students…not just you.

what about the final transcript…will grades of a C+ or better secure an acceptance?

Not intending to be Captain Obvious, but you need to call admissions asap.
