Concerns from a VERY international student going for Duke

yeah, I know, the term, a 'very international person' may seem odd, but not after I explained it.

I'm sure there are others out there like me, but I've lived 11 years abroad (I'm 16 years old) in 6 different countries (Korea <- my homeland, 4 latin american countries, Spain) and I can read/write, and even think in 3 languages (korean, spanish, english).

Does Duke have many (if any) people like me? Would you think Duke would prize such students (even if it were a tiny bit) ?

Of course, my grades are about Duke's average, so are my SATs (I dont want to mention them, because I dont want this to be a chance thread)

bump... please help

definitely, work that into your essays and duke could deginitely get the picture of your unique situation. i mean i'm sure there are few students at Duke as international as you are, so your living in many countries would certainly help you.

There are tons of internationals here. The country contributing the largest percentage of internationals is S. Korea...so you should feel right at home.
