Concerts/Culture/etc

another school i am considering is ucla. there, they have royce hall and have a bunch of performances there for a discounted price for students. there are also lots of concerts (all kinds of cool bands) that perform there.

does cornell have a lack of such things because it's kinda in the middle of nowhere?

Lifehouse, The Shins, Third Eye Blind, and All-American Rejects (coming up in April) are some of the concerts I remember since I've been at Cornell.

yeah i hear a lot of great concerts are held at cornell. i hope i get in!!

And don't forget that Ithaca College, easily reachable by bus, provides an entirely different group of concerts, speakers, and other events.

How far is Ithaca College to Cornell? Is it like as close to Ithaca as Cornell? Cuz I saw a TON of Ithaca College people in Ithaca when I visit cuz they were playing beer golf lol. That is cool that there is another college so close cuz of things like concerts and such.

Well they're both in Ithaca and Ithaca isn't that big. It's a taxi or bus ride away.
