Conditions of Admission/Getting rescinded?

I saw the policy of UC Berkeley saying that I must "complete all senior-year courses listed on your application with an overall unweighted B average for each term and no grade lower than a C."

What "term" is Berkeley referring to? Different schools use different grading periods. In my school though, we use a pretty standard setup. There are four grading periods (which are considered quarters) and there are two grading periods in a semester.

From what I understand, my overall second semester grade has to be at least a 3.0? And how about the "no grade lower than a C" policy? Let's say for just one class, is that referring to the overall grade that is averaged out from the last two grading periods (the semester average) ? Or the whole year? Or does that refer to the grade I get on my last grading period? I'm pretty confused. Please help.

Since your school operates on the quarter system, Cal’s grading policy would apply to each of your grading periods this year (4 total). Your admission could be rescinded for any non-passing grade you receive (typically D or F), or an unweighted grade point average less than 3.0 (B-average). Hopefully this does not apply for you.
