I sent my little slip in (like the 29th?) and when I got no relpy (because it wasnt there yet) I got worried and called but had to leave a message and have since gotten no reply...

Should I be worried? Because if they call me tomorow and say "sorry, we didnt get it on time, no college for you" it would be quite the downer.

Danielle, I am sure you aren't the only one with that concern. We did not receive anything either and my husband finally called and asked if they had our check, and they said that they did. Yesterday we got some forms from USD regarding vaccinations and other things that are required before you go to college.

I am sure that they will reply to you soon. I bet they are quite busy about now! If you do not hear today, I would follow up with an email requesting an email confirmation from them that they received your check and you are "official".

Congratulations on your excellent choice and Go Toreros!

They called me back! The conversation went something like this:

"Hi this is Danielle **** and Im calling to make sure that you guys got my cool little slippy to make sure Im all commited"
"Your cool slippy-slip? Was it in a white envelope or blue"
"blue"
"Those take longer to process, I cant give you an answer yet but Im sure you are fine. If you would like, call back in a few days"
"Why are we racist against blue envelopes"
"I beg your pardon?"
"Why do they take longer to process, I mean"
"Because we have to pay for the postage"
"oh...thank you!"
"Have a marvelous day"

They didn't cash my son's deposit check last year for weeks after enrollment. I had the same concern, but it was no problem. I called when it didn't clear my bank and I was worried that it was missing. It wasn't.

I don't think he heard back anything from them for several weeks. They are now processing 10,000 yes or no forms. It will take awhile.

If you are in the San Diego edu website, you will get email to your account, but don't worry if you don't hear for a while!

Michelle

Oh okay. Thanks Michelle. Im not but Im not tooooo concerned.
