<p>If one of my class discussions conflict with another classes discussion for next quarter, will it affect how many units I receive or anything else? I have physics 1b discussion conflicting with chem 20b lecture next quarter, and I plan on just sitting in on another physics discussion that was closed by the time I had my second pass. Will this work?</p>
<p>Depends on what the class uses the discussion for. If it is just a basic Q&A and no mandatory attendance then you should have no problems. If you take quizzes or something you might have to talk about it with the TA or professor.</p>
<p>Missing lecture/discussion shouldn't affect your units unless you fail the course because of the absences though.</p>

<p>usually physics discussions aren't that big of a deal... i don't think you have anything to worry about but you should double check with your TA on the first day.</p>
