Confused about admissions???

Ok so I got a D- my second semester junior year for math analysis but i still got provisional admission to cal state long beach. However after you’ve been accepted, one of their admission requirements is “Completion of all CSU A-G subject requirements with a grade of “C” or higher by the end of the Spring semester prior to enrollment”. So after I send my transcript are they gonna rescind me or something bc of that grade? All my other grades are passing except for this one.

If you self reported the D- on your application, it seems like they accepted you with the D- on your transcript. The provisional requirement, would then apply to senior year only.

However, I think you should email the school to be certain and save all correspondence.

Yeah i put the D- on the app, and I went back to see if anything was wrong…but i put in all the right info so

You need to complete all the CSU requirements with a grade “C” or higher of A-G to get accepted. For mathematics, you need up to Algebra 2 to pass the requirement for math, if you got a D in Math Analysis, that wont affect your A-G since you still meet all the requirements.

Just to add. A D or F grade during senior year violates your provisional acceptance even if you meet the minimum A-G requirement. For example, a D in Spanish 4 (senior year) would put an applicant as risk for rescission because it violates the provisional acceptance even though the Spanish 4 exceeds the minimum A-G requirements.

I think you’re in good standing because the D grade was included on your application and the school did not inform you of any A-G deficiencies

thanks y’all

I want to add that if you took a higher level Math course beyond the Math Analysis and you passed with a C or higher, then you validate the D received in Math Analysis. What are you taking Senior year? Are you local for CSULB?
I would still call to confirm.

I’m taking Math SL and I’m retaking Math Analysis online
