I'm a bit confused about the Danforth Scholars program application. My college counselor told me he nominated me, and I got the email from Wash U telling me I had been nominated and to visit the website. I visited the site, and saw one reference to the Danforth Scholars program. However, when I opened the application, there was no box to check for the danforth scholars program, so I'm a bit confused.

I actually just sent my application in. I was never able to get the information to come up on the internet. If you were nominated then you would’ve received a packet with the essay requirements enclosed. The part of the website that discusses the Danforth Scholars Program doesn’t mention the scholarship anywhere. I guess that’s because it isn’t a very public scholarship. If you never received that letter with the application, then you should call the admissions office.

Thanks for the info! I go to a boarding school, and a lot of my college mail is sent home, which my mom accidentally recycles I was able to access it online though! As it turns out, I just had to use a different internet browser than the one I normally use (wash u’s website isn’t supported by google chrome, as I soon found out). Good luck to you!

If you were nominated for the Danforth, you can access and fill the application online but you first have to log on to your WUSTL pathway. Once logged in, you can check everything, your application status, the scholarships, etc.
