Confused about honors

Hi all. My DD is currently looking at 'Bama for class of '23. After scrolling through a 10-year-old thread I found the terms UHP, IHP, CBHP, UFE. I found UFE on the UA honors website and CBHP under its new name, RRSP, but can’t seem to find any mention of UHP and IHP, just the honors college. Do those two programs still exist? If not, could someone explain how honors at 'Bama currently works?

The website is pretty much self explanatory https://honors.ua.edu/ If you look under Academics and then Requirements it explains what is necessary to take to graduate with honors. With all the high caliber students at the school, so many kids are honors. My dd enjoys the smaller class size and early registration times.

UHP - University Honors Program is just the shorthand for the general honors program outside of all of the special programs.

IHP - International Honors Program was phased out a few years ago. I believe my son’s incoming class of 2012 was the last incoming class it was offered for.

CBHP (Computer-Based Honors Program) is now renamed Randall Research Scholars Program. Here’s the new information.

Edit: I just saw you found that information, but I’ll leave the post in case it’s useful for someone else.

UFE is University Fellows Experience. It’s another competitive entry program within the Honors College:
