Confused about information sessions

Okay, I'm a well-educated person, and I still can't figure out the information session schedule at Cornell. On the website, they talk about how they offer "general info sessions" but when one clicks on the calendar, all I see are info sessions for specific schools - and even those are sparse (I don't see any for Human Ecology, for example). I don't see a single, regular old "general info" session offered at any time this month. I do see there are tours offered though (although no way to actually sign up for them). Can anyone enlighten me? I must be missing something. Thanks!!

We had to visit twice in order to get all the tours and info sessions in that we wwanted to do. At certain tiimes of the year (and certain days of the week) they are very few and far between. The last general University info session i see listed on the calendar is Saturday oct 25th.

As far as tours go, no reservations, just show up. And there are 2 types of tours: the general info tour and the freshman experience tour(dorms, dining hall, etc). Good luck!!!

Campus Tours
We offer walking campus tours at select times throughout the year. Reservations are required for a group of 10 or more, but we don’t take reservations for individuals or small groups. Tours are mostly outdoors and last about one hour. Tours begin at the Information and Referral Center in the Day Hall lobby. Click here for tour times. Make sure to follow all parking procedures.

Human Ecology only offers info sessions on Monday and Friday from May thru October

When we visited in September, we went on a weekend that had both the General Info session and the school specific session. We also took the walking tour and then my D did the freshman experience tour. To be honest, the school specific info session was more helpful than the general info session, especially if your student knows which school he/she will be applying to.
