Hello folks. First off, this is my first post on the forum so please don't go hard on me..

-- Cumulative GPA: 2.738
-- Total Credits Earned: 31.0
-- Major: Liberal Arts

Okay..

I am currently an undergraduate at a Community College in New York. I am having a real hard time choosing which career path to follow. I am open to many fields. I have previously had only ONE serious job in my life which was a graphic designer. Although it didn't pay much I sticked around for about a year and a half. I am very confused about what major to stick with... It was previously Computer Information Systems, while I was working as a graphic designer, however later I changed it to Liberal Arts as I was skeptical whether or not I should pursue it, wanting something more general (taking the college required classes), before I could choose "career related degree"

At this moment, I have only a few classes left until I get my AS in Liberal Arts, HOWEVER, do I really need it? As the degree is very general and won't get me anywhere where I can't get without a degree. Should I finish up to get my AS in Liberal Arts with a good GPA and than proceed with more career related field?

I am open to different career paths, although I could say I am proficient in graphic design as well as many other computer related fields (web development, computer technician, some basic programming, etc). Nevertheless, I am also leaning to fields like marketing, among others.

Thank you folks, I hope my point here is clear.
