Confused about majors/life (neuroscience, political science)

I have wanted to go to medical school for several years and after taking an anatomy class decided that neuroscience is what I’m really interested in/passionate about. However, I’m also really interested in politics. I’ve been to and organized multiple marches, demonstrations, etc. I also volunteered at the local political office canvassing and phone banking. These two majors/career paths are so completely different and double majoring isn’t really an option with how much pre-med would take over my life. Any advice on what to choose? Also the schools I applied to are mostly known for pre-med is it bad that I don’t have any that are really strong in poli sci? (Emory and Vanderbilt are my top choices if I get in). Thanks in advance!

Could you possibly major and minor?

Both the schools you mention should have enough poly Sci to keep an undergraduate busy. Pre-med is not really a major. It describes a set of courses that you’d need prior to applying to medical school. Neuroscience can refer to some combination of courses in biology and psychology. My guess is that it will become pretty clear to you which of the two paths you’d rather pursue once you take a couple of courses in each area.
