Confused transfer or stay?

  1. I currently am attending a state university and I don’t rly enjoy it. I was considering transferring to Georgia Tech and go into business there. However I don’t know if I would really like to pursue business but I know I would enjoy attending GT because of the campus and people there.
  2. I was thinking about majoring into bio at my state university and get a high gpa and go into dental after I graduate. This means I’d stay at my state university for 4 years and not transfer. I don’t really enjoy my state university. I know bio at gt would be difficult and if I wanted to go into dental I could get a high gpa at my state university.

Really confused on what to do. Any advice?

Where do you currently attend college? Are you a Georgia resident? Georgia Tech is nice, but as a public GA university it’s going to be expensive for a non-resident transfer student.

Why don’t you like your current university, and why do you think you’d enjoy GT more? Have you ever visited or spoken to any GT students?

@cool33: Are you a student at Georgia State ?

What is your college GPA ?

Currently Georgia State student. Yes I am Georgia Resident. My friends go there and I have visited it many times.

Yes and 3.52

Transferring into Georgia Tech may require that you have completed certain courses. You should contact Georgia Tech admissions to find out which courses you need in order to pursue any particular major there.
